1. Who we are

INTELLINET GROUP LIMITED (“we,” “us”) is a limited company registered in the United Kingdom, with its office at First Floor, Swan Buildings, Swan Street, Manchester, England, M4 5JW, United Kingdom. This policy applies to https://protectdatashield.online and to the mobile application Word Connect Daily, package name com.word.connectdaily.

2. Scope

There are two collection surfaces:

• The website — pages you can open in a browser, including this policy, support, and the contact page.
• Word Connect Daily — a stamp-ring word puzzle that fills a crossword-style target grid. Bonus words go to a bag. Daily seeds and streaks are optional play modes.

This version of the app does not use an advertising SDK, an analytics SDK, a crash-reporting SDK, or a sign-in service. We do not sell personal information.

3. Information from the website

3.1 Mail you send

If you email us or use the contact page to open your mail app, we receive the address you send from, any name you type, the topic, and the message body. We use that content to reply, to handle a privacy request, or to fix a support issue.

3.2 Technical requests

Opening a page creates an ordinary request to the host (for example, IP address and browser type as recorded by hosting logs). We do not place advertising cookies and we do not embed Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar tags on this site. You can block cookies in your browser; the pages remain readable.

4. Information in Word Connect Daily

Word Connect Daily version 1.0.0 is designed so that play state stays on your device. The app does not create an account and does not upload your grids, streaks, or booster counts to servers operated by INTELLINET GROUP LIMITED.

4.1 Stored on the device

• Puzzle and booklet progress, including which cells are filled
• Star marks and coin counters (virtual items with no cash value)
• Hint, rearrange, and reveal counts
• Daily seed marks and a local streak calendar
• Theme choice, sound, and haptics switches
• Bonus bag words and local goal ticks
• Other settings needed to reopen the last screen

4.2 Not collected by this version

• Name, email, telephone, or postal address from inside the app
• Precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera content
• Payment card data (this version does not sell items for real money)
• Advertising identifiers used to show third-party ads
• Analytics events sent to a third-party measurement company

4.3 Word-sense cards

A short definition can appear when you tap a filled target or a bonus chip. That text is part of the puzzle. It is not a record of your identity.

4.4 Permissions

The play loop described here does not need access to contacts, location, or the camera. If a future version adds a permission or a network service, this policy will be updated before that version is published, and the store Data safety form will be aligned with the same change.

5. How we use information

• To operate the website and answer mail you send
• To honor privacy requests (access, correction, deletion of mail we hold)
• To meet a legal duty if one applies to a specific request

We do not use Word Connect Daily play files for advertising, because we do not receive those files.

6. Legal bases (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018)

We process website mail on the basis of our legitimate interests in answering you, or to take steps at your request before a contract. We process data if the law requires it. We do not rely on consent for a hidden tracker, because this site does not run one.

7. Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We may share mail content only with a hosting or email provider that carries the message, or if the law requires a disclosure, or if we must protect the company or other people from serious harm. A later sale of the company would transfer records the law allows, with notice where required.

8. Retention

Email is kept only as long as needed to finish the request and to meet bookkeeping or legal duties. Word Connect Daily local files remain until you clear storage or uninstall. We cannot delete a local slot from our office because we do not hold it.

9. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may ask to access, correct, delete, or restrict personal information we hold — typically the contents of mail you sent. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests, or ask for a copy of mail we hold in a portable form where that right applies. We do not sell personal information.

To make a request, write ESENDIROV@protectdatashield.online from an address we can use to reply. We may ask you to confirm that you sent the original mail. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) in the United Kingdom.

10. Children

Word Connect Daily is a general-audience word puzzle. It is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child sent us personal information by email, write the inbox and we will delete that mail when we can identify it. More detail sits on Age & audience.

11. International transfers

The company is in the United Kingdom. If you email us from another country, your message travels to the United Kingdom. We do not operate a separate regional app server for play data in this version, because play data does not leave the device.

12. Security

We use ordinary technical measures for the website and the inbox. No method of transmission is completely secure. Word Connect Daily progress depends on the security of your device. Keep the operating system current and use the lock you already use on the phone.

13. Changes

We will post a new “Last updated” date on this page when the policy changes. If a change adds collection that is not on-device only, we will revise this page before that collection begins.
